Surprises from the past.
Here is a DIN A5 sketch I drew some time ago. I can't recall exactly when, as I have a tendency of forgetting to write down the date.. ups! Anyhow, I believe it suits the (very much highlighted) concept of this blog: Alter Ego. This has made me draw the conclusion that I might have drawn it slightly before starting this blog.

Hey there again! Here's a quick description of this drawing:
As you can see, this is a juxtaposition of two faces one of which is half complete. This comes to show that both characters complement each other. It only makes sense if both are together (Alter Ego).
By outlining the visible features with black, as well as the shadows, I wanted to include a little 'Pop Art' flair to it. I find that the saturated colours add drama to the whole. As you can see, I also used different techniques to colour in some of the parts: scribbles, coloured pencils and watercolours.
I quite like the result of it, and can't wait to find what else I seem to have hidden away...
