The Informal Tourist

If your concept of adventure lies within an exasperating thought of being nowhere to be found, do not continue reading.

As a Barcelona citizen since the early age of 3, I must confess I still hardly know my way around some parts of the City. When it comes to the 'Raval' or 'Borne' (the more ancient parts) It seems impossible to go to the same place twice following the same route. Yes, it is frustrating! However, I'm always up for the adventure. I mean, what sense would it make to go round with a map? All the fun part would be dismissed: getting lost.

What's more, I apply this rule to every new place I go as, the more I lose track of my prior footsteps, the better I get to know the urban essence. Someone once told me the first thing one must find out when visiting a new country/city is: the supermarket's location. So there we go, first things come first! Maybe the supermarket could be a rendezvous... It's your choice!

I hope you enjoy the rest of this post!
