So, after spending over ten days in England with no phone plus low wifi coverage whenever I had internet and a surprising amount of sunny weather, I have finally been able to get down to writing this post. I know, as random as it may sound, I just mentioned sun in England. That, however, didn't prevent me from getting wellies!! As the illustration shows, I deprived myself of getting Hunters: I just have it in for them. It's probably because of the ridiculous trend consisting of Hunters, long socks and shorts. Oh, but what's worse is that this outfit is commonly worn when non-intimidating clouds seem to be lying in the background of Barcelona's landscape. I take my wellie-philosophy very seriously, therefore I chose a pair of plain navy blue Wellington boots and left them in Somerset.
Why? well, because I'm going back in 21 days and I'm not relying on the sun to be there when I arrive. At least not for a very long time, lets be realistic. The reason why I'm going back is because I'll be Au Pairing for some friends back in Norton Saint Philip, in a beautiful country side house, exquisitely decorated in a rustic manner, surrounded by fields which are peacefully guarded by sheep and their two Labrador dogs. But I'll be reserving further posts on this challenging new experience once I'm there.
Big kiss,
NS
