The Day-Dream-Romance Sindrome.
Have you
ever been diagnosed with what I like to call: the Day Dream Romance syndrome by
your dearest friends? Well, I have. It is when rationality is nowhere to be
found, as if you had travelled back in time to those days where imagination was
your most powerful weapon.
The cheeky
smiles, the cuddlesome giggles, fancyful thoughts (just to mention a few symptoms
that give oneself away) can be due to a complement, a dream come true (or
simply something you dreamt last night) or (most likely) Love.
Like in this
scruffy edged drawing of mine, every girl has had a fairy tale moment at some
point during their lives. We all want to feel like a princess once in a while,
be embraced by ingenuity, have those 'chic-flic' moments only we, girls, know
what I am talking about.
The purpose of this post is to
remind you, by reminding me, that by succumbing to some irrational, velvety,
naive mood does not mean you have abandoned your down-to-earth self. Let’s put it
this way: It is Ok to have your own Cinderella story.
Big cheeky smile to you all
NS.
