Modelling, Love for Fashion and Fashion Photography.
Inspiration is what I call a strange phenomenon. At times it comes like a joker card that slips spontaneously out of my P-J's sleeve. It may hit me and, on the spur of a moment, sketch something into my (always present in my Mary Poppins handbag) note book. But, if it is not a song, a landscape, feelings, photography or even friends which provide me ideas... Personal experience is an infallible resource.
The illustrations featured are basically the result of Modelling, love for Fashion and Fashion Photography. Not that long ago, (it has probably been two years already) I had my first Modelling experience. Whether it was for Blogs or other Media such as Magazines or a TV advert, made no difference in front of the camera.
I figured it would just be a way of interpreting myself in front of the lens. Some express themselves by writing, others drawing, some talking... Well, I discovered another means of communicating my dubious personalities by posing before a camera. It's sort of like acting. Anyhow, I feel I must point out that every single one of my experiences as a Model have been.. unforgettable. Unforgettable to such an extent that it has been, and is, a source of inspiration. Mainly due to the variety of people I met, anecdotes which make me giggle whenever they pop up in my mind, the lovely clothes...But also because it has brought me closer to Fashion Photography: an Art which reflects attitude, sense of Fashion and a wide range of body language.
I like to call these: Anything But Monochrome
